Stumbled onto a hello kitty tea house in kyoto while walking along sennenzaka and ninnenzaka area. The cafe was quiet and not crowded unlike the rest of kyoto.
Hubby and I each ordered a main course with an appetiser. It's actually a tofu and some salty tofu drink set. U are supposed to mix the matcha powder shaped like a bow and the spring onions and etc into the tofu and mix it before eating.
Hubby ordered the soba and inari sushi set.
I ordered this rice with tea set. Supposed to pour the tea pot over the rice and eat.
At the end of the meal, we can keep the chopsticks as souvenirs. Although I'm not a hello kitty fan but this is a nice quiet place to rest and take a break from the crowd and the prices are quite reasonable considering it's hello kitty theme.
