Finally got the chance to go try out the newly opened Pompom Purin Cafe at Orchard Central. The queue is quite ok as compared to last month. I was there on Friday around 11.30 am and there was nobody in the queue.
We ordered the pancake tower, a pudding dessert, and cup of coffee with 2 mashmallows, and a carbonera mushroom and bacon spaghetti. In total, the bill comes up to about $80+ SGD.....😲
Food wise is so so....as I find the pancakes to be too dry and dense. It will be nicer if the syrup in the pompom mug is maple syrup instead of some v sweet and artificial tasting corn syrup.
Place wise, the decorations are nice and does not lose out to the one in Tokyo.
Would I come back again? Hmm...not so soon since the menu is quite limited.
