Midweek pampering at Arteastiq

Finally midweek....it's been a long and dreary wait for Friday. After being in constant contact with mouldy vegetable matter and noise pollution, I am on the verge of losing my mind. Thus when I found myself alone during lunch today, I decided to treat myself to a good lunch at Arteastiq.

I opted for the flight fantasy free range egg and a pot of warm honey lavender tea. Total cost of the meal after service charge and GST is $18.80. Cheap!
It's looks better than I expected. I was told it will taste better if mixed up all the ingredients. Mistake, I shd have just mixed the spinach and eggs instead of everything coz the chips get soggy...the bread taste v nice...crispy on outside n fluffy inside.
Loved the tea! Feels so therapeutic sipping the tea and enjoying the nice quiet atmosphere with only a few ppl and 2 korean tai tais chatting away....I lean back and enjoy the moment while playing with my pokemon go.

Pokemon hunting craze

Recently, I have become hooked on this global phenomenon game called Pokemon Go.
It's so fun and addictive coz there is this surprise element of not knowing what kind of pokemon I might catch. Esplanade is quite a nice place to catch Pokemon as it's has a nice sea view and breeze and sometimes there is a live music performance. However, most of the pokemons are mostly psyduck, slowpokes or magikarp. So, I went to Garden by the Bay today and was so happy to catch my first pikachu there!
There are also lots of voltorbs, magnemite, and other rare pokemons which I seldom encounter and I also managed to catch an onix. By far, the best hunting ground is Garden by the bay as it has the most variety of pokemons and it has over 62 poke stops and 5 gyms. However, most of them are quite spaced apart so will required quite a lot of walking under this blistering hot humid weather....arghh....

A visit to red dot museum after work

Decided to visit the red dot museum after work today becoz they are having the once a month bazaar where it's free admission to the museum. I walked from outram all the way here.
It's the first time I went to this place. Today there will be many ppl setting up stalls selling handmade crafts.
There were many different kinds of stalls being set up selling all sorts of stuffs from bags, shoes, food, jewellery etc.
Some of the items are v interesting. I quite like this stall selling localised hair accessories like ang ku kueh hairpin etc.
Another stall which caught my attention is this stall selling waterproof zipped pouch made from our everyday usual snacks and tibits packaging.
End up buying a wooden handmade brooch. Actually wanted to get a few but it's quite exp at about $12-13 for each.

My new air ioniser

Bought this USB operated air ioniser from Qoo recently. Seems like it's working ok...

I bought this to combat the stale and toxic air around my work station. There's hardly any air circulation at all and the air is still and stagnant. Sometimes I feel like I am grasping for air....no oxygen only carbon dioxide here. Hopefully it will improve the air quality here....
