Lavender paradise

I found my lavender paradise, in Sequim, Washington US.

There are also chamomile flowers growing alongside the lavender. The whole place feel so soothing and relaxing that I almost want to sleep.

People picking and cutting their own lavender flowers for just $5. How awesome is that!

My hand picked bouquet of lavender flowers!

What I LOVE about this place was that is was quite secluded and thus not crowded. Also, it's not as commercialized as other lavender farms like Farm Tomita which charges entrance fees and exorbitant prices for its lavender flowers. It's a small family owned farm and the people were friendly. They also sell lavender ice cream and lavender beverages. Highly recommend this place, Purple Haze Lavender Farm. It's about 1.5hrs drive from Seattle Tacoma International airport.

Hello world 2013!

Harlow~!

I'm back to blogging again after 2 years stay in Israel. U can check out my previous blog here (http://melancholic-gal.blogspot.sg/) where I first started blogging about my life experience living in a foreign country where I was considered an alien and where I felt like a mute, blind and deaf person. Reason being the language of course. Hebrew....I mean where else in the world do people speak that besides Israel, home of the Jews. For the first time in my life, I truly understand how it feels like to be an illiterate person. It sucks! Well, I did try learning Hebrew. Took some lessons but then its still very difficult to learn that language. Interest plays a very major factor, I guess. Anyway, I have almost completely forgotten everything since I am back in Singapore for about 3 months to date now. Man...how time flies here! Anyway, I have to say this again...it feels good to be back home! :)
